One of the outside organizations that Engage Media Lab, a student organization here at The New School, works with is the Arab-American Family Support Center. New School students have been leading media education classes and projects for a few years with the Center. I have been fortunate enough to work with the youth for almost a year. For one of my classes, Telling Immigrant Stories, which is a part of the media platform, Feet in Two Worlds, I needed to create an audio postcard and so I decided to feature the always energetic and full of laughter Center one day after school.
